Built to grow.
Engineered to scale.
Lewis Hunter. Four Engines Framework Creator. Author. Speaker. Portfolio Builder.
I help established business owners stop being the bottleneck in their own companies.
That's the work.
The Four Engines Framework is how I do it. The Operator Trap, my book co-authored with Vincent Hovorka, is where it's documented. Everything else, the masterminds, the speaking, the portfolio I'm actively building, sits on top of that one mission.
Growth is the operating principle
I live by a simple truth. If you're not growing, you're dying.
That belief shaped how I built my health, my mindset, and every business I've owned. Growth isn't ambition. It's the operating system. The minute you stop pushing forward, you start sliding back, and most operators are sliding back without realising it.
Success isn't accidental. It's engineered. You don't chase it. You set yourself up for it.
Built for this
I didn't have a turning point. I was built for this.
At fifteen I was selling at school. Chewing gum, anything I could turn over. I've been obsessed with business and psychology for as long as I can remember, and the two have always belonged together. Understanding how businesses really work means understanding how people really think.
I see the patterns most people miss. The angle, the leverage, the better way that's hiding in plain sight. That's not a personality trait. It's how I'm wired, and it's what makes the difference.
What I've built
Two successful business exits. An active portfolio of businesses I own and operate. A coaching and events business built around the Four Engines Framework. Masterminds running internationally. A book co-authored with Vincent Hovorka.
I've spoken at Red Bull Racing's headquarters and Ferrari. I share stages with operators, investors, and founders who are building serious businesses, not chasing motivation.
Everything I teach, I've done. That's not a marketing line. That's the standard.
How I think
Most operators try to do the work. That's the trap.
The seven-figure shift isn't about working harder or getting smarter at execution. It's about understanding that your time, your energy, and your judgement are the highest-value assets in your business, and almost every task you do yourself is a misallocation of them.
I focus on systems and structure. On finding the right people and giving them ownership. On who not how. The fastest way to scale isn't to become better at the work. It's to stop doing the work that someone else can do better.
That mindset built the Four Engines Framework. It's also why my clients stop being the centre of their businesses and start running them like owners.
What I do today
Four Engines Framework Creator
The proprietary operating model that turns six-figure operators into seven-figure owners.
Author
The Operator Trap, co-authored with Vincent Hovorka. The framework, the systems, and the truth about what it actually takes to build a business that runs without you.
Speaker
Keynotes and sessions on scaling, partnerships, deals, and the Four Engines Framework. Stages have included Red Bull Racing and Ferrari.
Portfolio Builder
I own and actively operate multiple businesses. Not passive capital. Real ownership, real systems, real responsibility.
Principles I work by
Deals over sales
Long-term relationships build empires. Single transactions build pipelines that run dry.
Systems over headcount
Every business problem is a systems problem before it's a people problem. Solve the system first.
Who not how
The seven-figure operator stops asking "how do I do this?" and starts asking "who can do this better than me?"
Speed of implementation
Strategy without execution is just expensive entertainment. Move.
